Joel Boyett from Calhoun (72-73, 145) recorded nine birdies over his two rounds to grind out a one 
stroke victory over Reese Weaver from New Orleans (75-71, 146). Joel birdied eight different holes 
and birdied the par 5 thirteenth twice for his nine birdie total. Joel held a one stroke lead over Britton 
Khalaf from Metairie (73-81, 154) after round one. Reese shot a two under 34 on Sunday to trail Joel 
by 2 shots headed to the final nine. After a bogey by Joel on the par five tenth, the lead was cut to one.
Joel used birdies on 11, 13 and 14 to open up a four stroke lead on his way to the title. Reese finished second after a 34-37, 71 on Sunday. Chris Wilson from Covington (77-73, 150) and Andrew Barreca  
from New Orleans (74-76, 150) finished third. Andrew recorded a hole in one on the 17th hole on 
Sunday and birdied 18 to tie for third.

Montgomery Claims Overall Girls Title


Alexis Montgomery

Alexis Montgomery from Maumelle, Arkansas (79-77, 156) shot 41-38 on Saturday and 39-38 on Sunday 
to win the Overall Girls Title. Alexis had one birdie on Saturday and three on Sunday.  Madeline Boudreaux from Covington (90-82, 172) and Karrington Knight from New Orleans (82-91, 173) 
finished second and third.

Morse Claim Junior Boys Titles


Trey Morse

Trey Morse from New Orleans (76-74, 150) continued his consistent play to claim another Junior 
Boys Title. Trey birdied three holes on the back nine Saturday for a 39-37. He used three birdies again
on Sunday for a 36-38 and a title. Luke Haskew from Baton Rouge (73-84, 157) held three shot first day
lead over Trey. After shooting a front nine score of 41 on Sunday he found himself two strokes back. Luke finished second. Logan Batiste from Slidell (78-81, 159) finished third.

Lapeyre Claim Junior Girls Titles



Liza Lapeyre


Liza Lapeyre from New Orleans (86-83, 169) claimed the Junior Girls Title. Liza birdied the difficult 
par 3 17th on Saturday. Fiona Marks from New Orleans (115-108, 223)
